Whatever you have heard of Kirkwall's rebellion, the truth is far worse; I would spare you that. What remains of Kirkwall's templars have been under my command for the past few years. We have done what we could to assist with the city's recovery—to restore some semblance of order—but my time here is done.
Seeker Pentaghast has approached me. She wishes to stop the war between mages and templars. She has been recruiting men and women to the cause and wishes me to oversee the group's military concerns. If the Conclave goes well, then we will not be needed. If not, we stand ready.
I have decided to take Seeker Pentaghast's offer. The Circles have fallen. I can give no more to the Templar Order, nor it to me. The Maker has shown me a new path; I must take it.

Tall, blond, hazel eyes, military posture. Vertical scar above upper lip. Usually in plate mail with fur-lined collar. Perpetually needs a shave.
⯌ Mental Educated, eloquent, logical, unendingly polite unless pushed too far. Little tolerance for bullshit. Maintains faith in religion despite being skeptical of the institutions that run it. Good with battle tactics, but when asked to strategize politically, will sound like the generals who wanted to stay in Afghanistan.
⯌ Flirt Will be flustered as fuck and it's really quite endearing.
⯌ Fight Good with sword and shield. Ostensibly may have other powers to combat magic wielders if taking lyrium, though by default I play him as having quit.
⯌ Weaknesses Due to lyrium withdrawal, prone to bouts of disorientation, physical pain, uncontrollable cravings, and possible madness(!)
⯌ DA World State Happy to adjust to whatever world state you prefer. I tend to reference my own player characters if needed: female rogue Warden; female warrior Hawke, female mage Inquisitor. Cullen barely recalls meeting the Warden, but knows she was nearly queen until Alistair sacrificed himself to kill the archdemon and end the Blight; has much respect for Hawke, who rode a fine line between aiding the rebel mages and helping Cullen clean up templar messes; has admiration and burgeoning attraction for Lady Trevelyan, who despite being virulently anti-Chantry is full of grace and poise when it comes to running the Inquisition.
